Thinning technique

After you've transplanted your seedlings to the grow shelf. Each pod should be thinned to 1 - 2 seedlings. To do this pull out the excess seedlings using a pair of tweezers or your fingers gently.

 

Harvesting technique

Crop the larger leaves first, by trimming at the very base of the stem. You may cut the larger leaves from any point on the main stalk. Never cut the main stalk! Plants may be harvested as baby greens, but leave at least 1 inch at the base for regrowth.
